Colorado Livestock Branding
Colorado brands are registered through the Brand Inspection Division. Branding is not required but approximately 30,000 brands are registered. Brands are considered personal property and recorded in brand deed books. The Division employs 68 brand inspectors and inspects over 4 million head annually.
