Indiana Livestock Branding

Indiana offers free livestock brand registration through the State Board of Animal Health. Any person owning livestock may adopt a brand for exclusive use in the state. Brands must meet specific design requirements and cannot duplicate existing registrations.

Notes: Submit Form SF-550. Sketch brand on 1-inch grid. Do not order branding iron until certificate issued. Single letter brands not allowed.
